OFFICER IN CHARGE OF A NAVIGATIONAL WATCH (OICNW) ON VESSELS OVER 500 GT (ITC)
The following is a list of assessment “Control Sheets” are required to be completed for Officer in Charge of a Navigation Watch in accordance with the new Coast Guard CG-543 Policy Letter 11-07, effective July 1, 2011. Next to each OICNW assessment control sheet number, we have indicated whether it can be completed as part of our approved training courses as of 05/31/2012 or; where it may be necessary due to the assessment’s Performance Condition requirements to be completed in a Full Mission Simulator and/or onboard ship signed off by a qualified assessor.
